Class - Beginning Hebrew - 2015

Begining Hebrew (using Alef isn't Tough)

No previous knowledge assumed — we begin with alef. The course covers everything you need to be able to read the Hebrew alphabet (consonants and vowels), plus some basic vocabulary. At the end of the class, participants should be able to read Biblical/Siddur Hebrew comfortably and be ready to move on to grammar.

Allan Tulchin is chair of TI’s Adult Education Committee and married to TI Board member Judy. They have two children, Hillel (7) and Lena (6). In “real life” he’s an associate professor of French history at Shippensburg University of Pennsylavania.

Materials fee for the 9-session class: $20

Please register by Friday, October 2, so that we can order enough books for the class.
