Tour of Historic Tifereth Israel: A Centennial 10-K
Sunday, March 19, 1:30-3:30 pm

(Meeting at 1:00 pm at TI - 7701 16^th St., NW)

Once known as the Mt. Pleasant Congregation, TI occupied three sites prior to moving to Shepherd Park. Come see and hear about the neighborhoods and Jewish community of the early 20^th century.

Hike, bike, or ride with the group (van provided) to visit 100 years of TI sites. With tour guides John List, Cynthia Peterman, and Wendy Turman (Deputy Director of the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington), we'll follow a 10-K route (6.2 miles) from TI's original location to today's 16^th St building.

We will meet at TI at 1:00 pm to arrive at our first stop, 14^th and U Streets, by 1:30 pm.  

Registration is limited to 20.
