If the Blessed Holy One had not brought forth our ancestors from Egypt, then we, and our children, and our children’s children would still be enslaved to Pharaoh in Egypt.

11. One does not have anything after the afikoman. Like nuts, dates, or seeds.

Context part 1

Therefore, even if we were all learned and wise, all elders and fully versed in the Torah, it would be our duty nonetheless to retell the story of the Exodus from Egypt. And the more one dwells on the Exodus from Egypt, the more is one to be praised.

A person is obliged to study the laws of Pesach all night, even if it’s just him and his son, or just himself alone, or just him and his student.
