Youth Groups
Our youth are encouraged to try new things and push themselves outside their comfort zones, supported by their peers and TI staff along the way. Through youth-led Shabbat Services, social action projects, and fun programming, our teens build leadership skills and become part of a dynamic Jewish community.
For over 60 years, USY and Kadima have taught Jewish teens the values and skills needed to become exceptional leaders in both synagogue and secular communities. TI is proud to support chapters of USY (9-12 grade) and Kadima (6-8 grade). We use the tagline, “Friends. Family. Home.” to encapsulate the transformative impact our chapters - in conjunction with regional and international USY experiences - can have on our participants.
Here is a sample of recent programs:
• Movie Nights
• Sushi & Pizza in The Sukkah
• Teen Shabbats
• Trivia Nights
• Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Arcade Events
• Purim Carnival
• Service-learning
• Fundraising for the USY including:
• Shake & donate, Purim Fundraiser
• Tikkun Olam Kabbalat Shabbat
For more information on joining our chapter and the life-changing opportunities, it can create please contact the TI Youth Advisor, Yael Horowitz.
