Memorial Plaque Donations

On the anniversary of the Hebrew date of death (yahrzeit), Jewish tradition is to light a 24-hour candle in the home the evening before the yahrzeit, make a charitable contribution, and attend services to worship and recite the mourner’s Kaddish.  At TI, we read names of the deceased just before reciting Kaddish on the Friday evening and Shabbat morning prior to a person’s yahrzeit date.  Memorial plaques are lit before sundown on the Shabbat before a yahrzeit and whenever there is a Yizkor Service.

To establish a permanent memorial in our Sanctuary for a loved one, please complete the plaque form below. NOTE: If you are ordering more than one plaque, you must fill out a separate form for each one.

Please note: Plaques ordered after July 16 may not be ready in time for the Yom Kippur Yizkor service.
