We will hold our regular December board meeting on Monday, December 13 at 8:00 pm and a special Board meeting about the Jonquil Street property on Monday, December 20 at 8:00 pm. Both meetings will be held via Zoom and are open to all congregants.
At our November meeting, the Board voted to pause the new policy for immunizations with the exception of COVID and appointed a committee to take another look at the issue. We returned to the COVID policies that have been in place since late summer until a new policy can be proposed and approved. Additionally, the Board voted to approve moving forward with the HVAC system replacements proposed by the George Greenberg Building Preservation Fund Trustees, contingent on financing. As reported during last night's Town Hall, financing has been secured in the form of committed loans for congregants and others and the contract has been signed. Work will commence sometime in January.
Monday's agendais provided with this email and will be largely updates and continuations of previous discussions. The agenda for the 20th will be shared next week. It will include a report from the Property Use Committee, time for congregant comments, and time for the board to ask questions and discuss. It will not include any decision-making. Any decisions will be made at the next meeting on January 10.
If you would like to speak on the 20th, or provide written comments for the board to review, please fill out this quick Google form. We are working to make the Property Use Committee's report available to board members and interested congregants in advance of the meeting. Please watch your email or the listserv for updates.
As always, I invite you to reach out to me with any questions.
