Thank you to all who attended the March Town Hall last Thursday. I hope it was helpful and informative.
On Monday, April 11 at 8:00 pm we will hold our April Board meeting. The meeting will take place via Zoom and is open to all congregants. If you would like to attend, please email TIPresident@tifereth-israel.orgso we know to expect you and can provide the Zoom link. As we will be in Executive Session early in the agenda, I encourage you to consider waiting to join until closer to 8:30.
At our March meeting, we heard an update from the Covid Committee and held an initial general discussion about the FY23 budget. Additionally, in Executive Session, we discussed the process of hiring a Director of Lifelong Learning. The Board also approved the new vaccination policy developed with congregational input by the Vaccine Policy Committee. The text of the policy is below.
The agenda for Monday is available for review. During the meeting the Board expects to approve hiring a Director of Lifelong Learning, hear an update from our Executive Director, review and approve the George Greenberg Building Preservation Fund spending plan for next year, and discuss in detail the proposed FY23 budget before a congregational meeting is held later this month. The board anticipates approving the budget on May 2.
Please note that we have moved our May meeting up a week and will meet on May 2 rather than May 9. If we need additional time to approve the FY23 budget or slate of officers and directors, we will meet again on May 9.
If you have any questions about the Board meeting or the work the Board is doing, please don't hesitate to email me.
Shabbat Shalom,
Sara
