Each year, the TI Social Action Committee sponsors the delivery of food baskets for Passover and Rosh Hashanah to less fortunate families and individuals in the community. This simple effort permits many to celebrate the holidays with joy and provides them with the traditional foods that are such an integral part of the haggim.

The project is undertaken in conjunction with Project Hope, sponsored by Bnai Brith, and needy recipients are identified by JSSA. Tifereth Israel is assigned over 50 packages and volunteers will deliver the packages to residences of identified individuals. 

Delivery of Passover baskets is scheduled for Sunday, April 10th. Baskets will be distributed on the Juniper Street steps at TI tarting at 9:00 am. Volunteers are asked to make deliveries during the morning if possible. Because of COVID-19, packages will be delivered and left outside.
